The Renewal Center is a safe place where men can go to stay for the short term when they disclose their addiction to their wives or they get busted for the first time and he is asked to leave the home. It is also a place where he can go during a period of redemptive separation which has been initiated by their counsellor as a part of their marriage restoration counseling. (A location for women will be added at a later date)

The Renewal Center will be an actual home where the guys who reside there begin the process of their healing journey together by participating in daily group activities and going through the Conquer Series as a group to start to understand their sexual addiction and begin the process of identifying the past wounds and traumas that brought them to this place. There will be a quiet time each morning and evening for the guys to do their personal devotions and a time in the evening where they all gather together for "chapel" where they will worship together and hear a devotional brought by one of the guys. We are working to have it in a place that is quiet and disconnected from the cities but still close enough for them to get to work. Everything they need to survive will be provided to them at the home including a private or shared room (depending on availability), a kitchen with food, snacks and beverages, laundry facilities, a living room with TV and basic cable (with restricted content enabled) and monitored and filtered high-speed internet. A TurnBack staff member will either reside in the home with the guys or will be there daily to lead the guys through their structured group times.

This is not a place for guys just to go and sleep when they need a place to stay. There is a financial cost to stay at the Renewal Center and they will be expected to participate in the group activities because it's been their bad choices and sin that brought them here and there are, and should be, consequences to those choices. We want the Renewal Center to do exactly what it's name says; help them begin the process of renewing their hearts, minds and lives as new creations in Christ, free from their addictions and chains.

We are currently in the process of identifying the location for our first Renewal Center in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities in Minnesota.
